Leather Oil: A must for your used saddles
Have you bought a used saddle from us? To ensure it lasts and keep it in good shape, we highly recommend a regular care regime. Our leather oil has been designed to nourish and regenerate leather. As a result, it makes your tack last longer.
Why use Antarès leather oil?
Our oil penetrates deeply into the leather, keeping your used saddle looking good, soft and supple while preserving the leather's elasticity. Using this oil stops the leather drying out and locks in its riding qualities over the years.
Antarès leather care products have been specially formulated for aniline leather. They protect against both light and heat.
Best practice:
Leather oil must be applied with special care and attention. Over-oiling can loosen and stretch the saddle leather. That's why we advise oiling your saddle no more than once or twice a year. Apply a thin coat of oil using a paintbrush and avoid the girth straps.
